West Midlands Police BMW 330d Roads Policing Unit, BX66 KCU (OPS38) seen twice on the same day, the first two photos were taken at West Midlands Police Headquarters where the Officer kindly offered to move the vehicle so I could get better photos and the other photos were taken close by to Victoria Law Courts.
Time for something a liitle different today, all of today's photos feature Birmingham Taxi Cop who is a West Midlands Police Officer who is the Private Hire, Hackney Carriage, Enforcement and Liaison officer seconded to Birmingham City Council Licensing, his bike is a BMW R1200RT, BX68 DCy. Obviously that's the main man in the first photo, the second and third also feature an Operational Support Unit Mercedes Benz Sprinter, BX67 FTA, (OPS125) (U3A), in the fourth we see a lovley Unmarked Audi A6 Armed Response Vehicle, then the next two feature the main man again and we finish off with the Taxi Cop seen dispensing justice later in the morning. All photos were taken on Saturday 1st February 2020, where as always it was great to speak to the famous Taxi Cop !
Here we have a nice little round up of photos taken around the Birmingham City versus Nottingham Forest match which took place on Saturday 1st February 2020, first up is the Renault Master Football Command Unit, BU05 OFZ (BW84), then we have a Peugeot Expert, BF63 CNY (BW57) seen passing a Vauxhall Insignia Driver Training Unit, BX66 KHY (LD24), then we see four photos featuring, BX66 KHO (LD20) and BX66 KHY (LD24) which are both Driver Training Units, then we see another DTU, this time, BX66 KGY (LD04) and we finish off with a Force Support Unit Mercedes Benz Sprinter, BX68 DCE (FSR044) with a Vauxhall Corsa behind that, BX12 KJK.

Here we have a rather nice West Midlands Police/British Transport Police Safer Travel Peugeot 308, BX18 GVU (BCPF04), the Safer Travel Police are a joint West Midlands Police and British Transport Police Team who patrol the bus, Metro & rail network in the West Midlands. This replaced a Vauxhall Insignia, BX62 AVD (BCPF04) and like that, there is only one of these.
West Midlands Police Vauxhall Corsa, BX12 KJK, which on this occasion was being used by the Force Support Unit, this is one of few units that has no door/roof code, according to the current fleet list it belongs to Birmingham West/Central and the door/roof code is EX15, I have no idea what that means and it certainly isn't present anywhere on the unit. The old code was BN20 (Birmingham North), Kingstanding Police Station to be precise.
